The Open Water Diver course is a global passport to diving – a certificate that allows you to explore the seas and oceans independently to a depth of 18 meters, together with a partner, anywhere in the world.

How do the classes work and what will the recipient experience?

The course includes theory available in the form of e-learning and discussion of key issues with an instructor.
We will provide you with all the necessary diving equipment on site. Please bring only what you would normally take to the pool – swimwear, towel, flip-flops.
Participants will perform exercises in water of varying depths, including diving to 18 meters under the supervision of an instructor.
You will learn advanced buoyancy control techniques, dive planning, and emergency response procedures.
You will experience the feeling of floating freely in the water, discovering a whole new perspective on the world.
After completing the course, you will receive an international certificate allowing you to dive to a depth of 18 meters in confined and open waters.
The first two days of the course take place at Deepspot, and the third day in open water. Location: Honoratka.

This course is designed for:

People who have never dived with equipment before and want to obtain their first diving certificate and embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
People who have completed the “First Scuba Dive” program want to expand their skills, deepen their knowledge of diving, and obtain international certification.

Course parameters:

Duration: 3 days (Tuesday–Thursday or Friday–Sunday), approx. 18 hours (not including time for self-study and commuting). Detailed dates are available in the calendar in the booking system. For an additional fee, it is possible to organize an individual course outside the standard dates in the calendar.
Minimum age: 10 years old
Maximum diving depth: 18 meters.
Planned number of sessions in water: 6–7. Depending on progress.
Prerequisites: the student must be able to swim
Certification: Open Water Diver with SSI (Junior OWD certification for those under 15 years of age).
Maximum number of participants per instructor: 4

The course is held during the spring and summer (May-September).
