How does the course work and what will they experience?
Theory modules: Covers theory via online e-learning, followed by a review of key topics with an instructor at Deepspot.
Breathing & relaxation: Breathwork and relaxation techniques designed to effectively prepare participants for breath-hold dives.
Gear fitting: We provide all equipment. Please just bring standard pool gear: swimwear, a towel, and flip-flops.
Equalization & technique: Equalization training and proper descent techniques for smooth, safe progress to deeper depths.
In-water practice: Shallow water exercises followed by dives down to a maximum depth of 20 meters, guided by an instructor.
International certification: Upon completion, participants receive an international certification allowing them to dive down to 20 meters in both open and enclosed waters.
Who is this course for?
Absolute beginners who have never tried freediving before.
Anyone who has completed a Try Freediving course (SSI Try Freediving or equivalent from another diving organization).
Experienced freedivers who lack the official certification required to freedive with a buddy in open water environments.

Course parameters:
Duration: 2 days (Monday–Tuesday, Thursday–Friday, or Saturday–Sunday), totaling 16 hours (excluding self-study and travel time). Specific dates are available in the booking calendar. Individual courses outside standard calendar dates can be arranged for an extra fee.
Minimum age: 12 years old.
Maximum depth: 20 meters (Note: maximum depth for ages 12–14 is 12 meters).
Water sessions: 5 scheduled pool sessions.
Prerequisites: Participants must know how to swim.
Certification: SSI Freediver (Junior Freediver certification for participants under 14).
Maximum participants per instructor: 3.
